5 - 7 Years

Toddler and mother playing together

The Play 2 Know classes are designed to prepare children for school.  Your child will participate in classes independently, learn how to cooperate with other children and participate in activities which challenge coordination, designed to help their minds and bodies mature.

You child will have fun with cooperative games and challenges to ensure that they have mastered control over their body’s movement and are ready to learn!

Activities, games, and equipment skills now focus on ensuring that both sides of the brain work together smoothly, easily and automatically.  Emphasis is also placed on advanced body awareness, directionality, motor planning, following at least 4 instructions without prompting, remembering a sequence of activities and other complex skills that ensure children have the essential skills for learning success!

We develop them on a Physical, Emotional, Social and Cognitive level.

Weekly classes will focus on pre-reading skills, sensory-motor development, visual and auditory perception, language and cognitive skills, pencil grip, cutting, drawing, painting, Science, Mathematics and so much more in a fun, informal way.

Classes will be structured to promote learning through play, laying a strong foundation.

Prepare your child to be ready for the leap from Grade R to Grade 1.

Class duration: 60 Minutes once a week.
